Stuffed with Blessings

Can you believe it's almost fall of this year already?????
Christmas is only ___ amount of days away.
I don't really know how many days away Christmas is.  I don't even want to think about it yet! :-)  Too soon.  Not ready.  Nope.
September 1 is just around the corner.  Holy cow!

I have a fall card to share with you.
This stamp is from High Hopes called Guard Duty Rudy.  It doesn't look like he's very effective at his job.  That's okay.  He's just too stinkin' cute.  I've owned this stamp for a very long while.  This is the first time I've inked him up though.
He is stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinklin' H2Os.
 Other card details:
Base - PTI Pinefeather
DP - Recollections Comic Heroes
Yellow circle - stash
Pears - Basic Gray

The sentiment is one I made.  You can download it here.

Thanks for hanging out with me!

Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge: Back to School/For a Teacher

Hey there!  Another challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers is going on.
It is "Back to School/For a Teacher".

Make a card for a teacher or child or anyone going back to school.  I'm sure there are quite a bit of you out there that are sending yourselves or your kids back to school. Make them a card!  Or make the teacher a card.

Or just be mean - like me - and remind them that summer is over!
Muahahahaha (say it in the evil laugh way).  It sounds cooler. :-)

**Please read all of the rules at the top of the blog**
One lucky participant will win a free Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp!
You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image on your card, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free Wags 'n Whiskers Digi.

Here is my card:
This card has the sweet "Say a Prayer" stamp.  I have used this one very often.  Like I have said before, very versatile.  She is stamped and embossed onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinling H2Os.

I also used an old sketch from My Favorite Things #MFTWSC182.  I like using sketches when my mojo needs inspiration.  I usually have colors picked out and even the papers.  Where I want it on the card is usually what takes me forever.  My Favorite Things have all their sketches on their blog.
On her wings you can see that I've added stickles for that extra little sparkle.
 Other card details:
Base:  PTI Pure Poppy
DP: retired SU Summer Picnic
Cabochon: SU Vintage Flowers
Sentiment: I made it.  You can download it here.

I made two cards.  One for my friend's girls who are two blond cuties and the brunette one for my niece.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Printable Daily Planner Pages Template

For the beginning of the year, I was using planner pages that I created myself.  They did me well and were extremely useful in the beginning of the year - but I started gaining more responsibilities in another job and I was needing more space to write than what I had.
I decided to go back to my trusted Franklin Covey planner pages.  I have been using Franklin Covey off and on for about 11 years.  Every time I try another brand - I always end up going back to Franklin Covey.
I will share pix of my planner(s) in some of my future posts but right now I thought I would share with you the Template for the pages that I created.  I know there were some people that were interested.
Some info first - in order to successfully download and use the pages:
You need Microsoft Publisher.  The font I used is called CK Letter Home.  I got it from a Creating Keepsakes CD - but they have it available here and here.  If you don't have the CK Letter Home font, it might look really funny when you open it up.
You can probably get away with using another font.  Play with it and try it out if you are confident.
The pages are all set up for printing on 8.5 x 11 paper for double-sided printing and to be cut in half.   These are sized to fit in a Classic sized Franklin Covey Planner or DayTimer.
There are two downloads - One of them is for months with 30 days.  The other is for months with 31 days.  Obviously, for February, you will have to delete some days.  You just have to type in the month and day of the week like I did in my previous pages, which you can check out here.  You will be able to see how I set them up.
In Publisher, you can also change the color theme to what you like.  You can also change any of the wordings in the titles into whatever works best for you.
Yes, it is time consuming.  But it was worth it if you are able to use what is right for you.  Like I said, it was working for me for a while - but life changes and so did my needs.

Below is the what the template looks like for months with 30 days.  Like I said, just add the month you need and add the days of the week before each number.
You can download it here.

Below is the template for months with 31 days.  They pretty much look exactly the same except you can see the change in the color scheme.  Also, at the end of the file  you will see the 31st day.  You can download it here.
Just remember online friends - This is a free printable for your personal use - NOT for sale. If you share this with others please direct them or link back to my blog.
If you have any questions, just let me know.
Also, if you do use it, please leave me a comment.  I sure would appreciate knowing who is getting some use out of these.  I have other things I've made which I will share in the coming few weeks/months as time allows.
Follow me to keep yourself updated when I add new stuff.
Thanks!  Have an awesome day!

I just made this birthday card with the High Hopes stamp - Cherry Chip Chimp.  This image is so cute.  He is drawn by Dustin Pike.  I have used this stamp quite a few times.  Here is another time I've used it.  There were more times but I don't have pictures of those cards.  It was usually a quick card I had to whip up for a birthday.
Chimp is stamped and embossed onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinklin' H2Os.

My Favorite Kind of Glitter

Seriously...glitter.  It's gets everywhere.  If you have visited my blog before, you know my hate/love relationship with glitter.  It started when I began working at a preschool.  Those little ones get glitter in places you didn't even know they could get them...of course, the days we worked with glitter would be the days I always had some kind of errand to run right after work.  So I had glitter on my face, my eyelid, my shirt, my pants....
Try cleaning that mess up.  Hateful, hateful craft item...
But...I like the way it looks.  It adds a nice element to your project.'s a hateful item.
In comes that wonderful item - Stickles!  Stickles does not offend me at all.  I can add glitter and sparkle without the evil mess.  If only they made Stickles in huge bottles that are preschool friendly...
This is a card I made for my mother in law to give to someone who had just had a baby girl.  The stamp I used is a Whimsy stamp called Angel Angie.  She is embossed onto water color paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os.  I added Stickles to her angel wings.
Base and Matte: SU Blush Blossom
Cloud DP: SU Whisper White embossed with Darice Cloudy Sky
Ribbon: Dollar Tree
Jewels on the string with the Star and Pearls: Queen & Co.
On the picture below you can see the Stickles better on the wings/feather and the stars.  I also added a teeny amount of glaze on the ladybug.

Glitter and Sparkle Challenge: Add Glitter and Sparkle
