One in a Minion Tag

I have another tag to share.  This one is the Minions tag from this project.

This project is one of my most viewed posts.  Of course the Minions are super popular for children, but these were used for a bridal shower.
These tags are generic and can be used for any occasion!
Again - if you would like to use it, you can add it to a Word document or Photoshop or whatever you feel comfortable using.  It is a .jpeg so you can resize it however you want. Just click on it, then right click and save to your computer.
I added a bunch on Publisher.  I made it into about 2 inch circles and punch them out with my 2 1/4 circle punch from Stampin' Up - which they don't sell anymore - but you can find other sizes at Stampin' Up, Joann's, Michaels, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby or your local craft store.
Please don't steal it and sell it.  Use it, share it, but please do not claim it as your own.  If you did use it, I would appreciate if you left me a comment of how you used it.  If you share this with others please direct them or link back to my blog.  If you have any questions, just let me know.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Lilo and Stitch Tags

So someone asked me if I would also post the Lilo and Stitch Tag I made for this project here.

Sure. Why not?
I changed it so that it's generic for you to to print.
Again - if you would like to use it, you can add it to a Word document or Photoshop or whatever you feel comfortable using.  It is a .jpeg so you can resize it however you want. Just click on it, then right click and save to your computer.
I added a bunch on Publisher.  I printed and straight cut them first.
Then, I chopped the corners with my Crop o'Dile corner chomper.  That way, I could do a bunch of corners at the same time.

Grateful Puppy Love

Ok - so I was early making my card for the Wags 'n Whiskers challenge but I am super late with my post.  So so so sorry!
The challenge is for Banners or Bunting.
**Please read all of the rules at the top of the blog**
One lucky participant will win a free Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp!
You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image on your card, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free Wags 'n Whiskers Digi.

This is actually a first for me.  I've never done a banner before.  I love checking out Lacey's cards because she uses banners quite a bit...but I have never done one.  It wasn't a hard.  It was actually super easy.  That's why I like these and other challenges.  It forces me out of my comfort zone.  My style is usually easy peasy/CASish.  So doing something new is great.

Onto my card:

The precious stamp is called Puppy Love.  I like that you can use this image for a friend or for love...it works for so many occasions.  Go!  Buy it!  You need it! :-)
This is stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Twinklin' H2Os.

Other Card Details:
Base - SU Daffodil Delight
DP - SU Gingham Garden
Twine - Divine Twine Yellow Solid
Buttons - My Stash

I made the banner using my Silhouette.  Simple Triangles were cut out and glued to the twine.

The sentiment I made and cut it out with a circle punch.

You can download it here.
If you use any of my digis, leave me a comment with link to your project!
I would love to see it!

I am entering the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - 260:Anything Goes
Alphabet Challenge - F is for Friends
Brown Sugar Challenge - Anything Goes
Cards Galore Challenge - Anything Goes for May
Thanks for hanging out with me!

This is a digi and it was printed onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.
The sentiment comes from Ginger's House.  It's such a true statement.

Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge: Back to School/For a Teacher

Hey there!  Another challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers is going on.
It is "Back to School/For a Teacher".

Make a card for a teacher or child or anyone going back to school.  I'm sure there are quite a bit of you out there that are sending yourselves or your kids back to school. Make them a card!  Or make the teacher a card.

Or just be mean - like me - and remind them that summer is over!
Muahahahaha (say it in the evil laugh way).  It sounds cooler. :-)

Here is my card:
This card has the sweet "Say a Prayer" stamp.  I have used this one very often.  Like I have said before, very versatile.  She is stamped and embossed onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinling H2Os.

I also used an old sketch from My Favorite Things #MFTWSC182.  I like using sketches when my mojo needs inspiration.  I usually have colors picked out and even the papers.  Where I want it on the card is usually what takes me forever.  My Favorite Things have all their sketches on their blog.
On her wings you can see that I've added stickles for that extra little sparkle.
 Other card details:
Base:  PTI Pure Poppy
DP: retired SU Summer Picnic
Cabochon: SU Vintage Flowers
Sentiment: I made it.  You can download it here.

I made two cards.  One for my friend's girls who are two blond cuties and the brunette one for my niece.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge: Polka Dots

It's time for a new challenge at Wag 'n Whiskers!
Polka Dots!  So easy! Polka Dots.  I mean, who doesn't own paper with polka dots?  And if you don't - you can draw - or even better - stamp some of your own polka dots.  Big or little dots.  Any dots.
Ok - I'm done.  ;-)
Make sure you read the challenge rules that are posted at the
top of the Wags 'n Whiskers blog.
One lucky participant will win a free Wags ‘nWhiskers Rubber Stamp!

You don’t have to use a Wags ‘n Whiskers image on your card, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free Wags ‘n Whiskers Digi!

Onto my cards:
To be honest, I started making these cards for the Fancy Folds challenge.  I had the entire concept in my head and I had already stamped and colored my image.  I just never finished the card because I went out of town.  The picture above is taken with the cards lying down so that you can see how it's supposed to look when it's closed.  The picture below is taken with the cards standing up.  On the outside you can see the little conversation bubbles.  Those were printed on SU Whisper White and then I cut them out.
The picture below you can see how it looks opened up.
I used the stamp Hey Grandma.  So very cute!
The next two pics shows a closer pic of the stamp:

I stamped him onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.  I then carefully cut him out.
Card details:
Base - SU Cherry Cobbler
DP - SU Polka Dot Parade
Jewels - SU
The "What's Up?" sentiment I made.  You can download it here.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Super Simple Birthday Wishes

Super simple cards for birthdays are good to have on hand.  Maybe you don't really know the person but really want to give them a handmade card...or maybe you want to make a bunch to package together to give as a gift.
Here is one idea for a simple layout you can make quickly:
If you scroll down through the pictures you can see two versions with the same layout but different colors.  Just a small detail changes.
 Card details:
Lace - Dollar Tree
Sentiment - Studio G stamped onto SU Whisper White
(the shape is a PDC shaplie cut with my Silhouette)
The flowers from the card above and below are ones that I crocheted but can easily be replaced with a paper flower.  I sat down watching TV one day and crocheted a whole bunch at a time in different colors so that I would have them on hand when I needed them.
The metal flower is a spacer I bought from Stamp and Create attached with a brad from my stash.
The only difference with this card is the DP is done using SU Rose Red and the flower has a button from PTI Pure Poppy attached with black twine.

Thanks for hanging out with me!
I am adding these to the following challenges:
Stamp and Create Challenge: Birthdays
Milk Coffee Challenge: Birthday
Inky Chicks: Happy Birthday
Glitter n Sparkle: Birthday

W&W Challenge: Anything Goes

***We have a design team call at Wags 'n Whiskers!  Go check out the details on the blog.***

Summer brings lazy days...for some people anyway.  My summer has been stinkin' busy.
We have done some home remodel/organization and we traveled to New York.  Going to New York was nice...home improvements...not so much.  I mean, it's nice.  We have nice new rugs in the bedrooms and some nice furniture pieces we got from Ikea.  I got a new desk.  I'm really excited about that.  I also got some modular cubes from the Recollections collection at Michael's.  (I will share pix as soon as I'm satisfied with how I want it.)  We have been able to purge lots of things that we have been accumulating in our home for the 14 years we've lived here.  I like purging.
It's just that it has been a long process of moving everything out of our rooms and then moving everything back.  Really, I'm not complaining.  It is totally worth it.  It's just that all that pretty much took most of June. :-)
Aaaaand - I have not been able to read as much as I would like.  So there's that.  I love to read.  I read The Fault in Our Stars on our way to New York.  (Am I the only one that did NOT give that book 5 stars?  I was not that impressed with it.)
Onto the challenge and card:
Wags 'n Whiskers is having an Anything Goes Challenge! Yaaaaaaaayyyyy!
I know that is everyone's favorite challenge.
Make sure you read the challenge rules that are posted at the
top of the Wags 'n Whiskers blog.
One lucky participant will win a free Wags ‘n Whiskers Rubber Stamp!

You don’t have to use a Wags ‘n Whiskers image on your card, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free Wags ‘n Whiskers Digi!

I like this stamp so much just because of the fact that the girl is reading!
She is doing my favorite thing (other than crafting...obviously).
This is a digi stamp called Bedtime Story.  It is also available as a rubber stamp.  I printed it onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.
Other card details:
Base - SU So Saffron
Red DP - My stash
Words DP - PTI Background Basics Text Style stamped onto SU So Saffron
Twine - The Twinery Solid Denim
Key - Michaels
The "storybooks" word art is from Ginger's House.
She has a fantastic site with free word art.  Go give her some love!

The sentiment I made.  It can be found here.
For this card the flowers are also Primas but it's held down with Eyelet Outlet's Orange Rhinestone brads.

The flowers on this card I found at the Dollar Tree a long time ago.  Super cute.  They are felt and the already came with the bling.

Fairy Inspiration

Hey there my fellow crafters!
It's time for another Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge!  I just have to say that I am very honored and blessed to be a part of such an amazing and talented group of crafters that are in the Wags 'n Whiskers Design Team.  They are so awesome!  Go check out their craft skills!
This challenge is the Photo Inspiration of the W&W logo.

One lucky participant will win a free Wags ‘n Whiskers Rubber Stamp!
You don’t have to use a Wags ‘n Whiskers image on your card, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free Wags ‘n Whiskers Digi!

Here is my card:
This cute fairy is a digi called Iris.  You can also get her as a rubber stamp.  She looks so relaxed.  Wouldn't it be just awesome if you could summon a hummingbird?
I printed her onto watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.
Base: SU Very Vanilla
DP: DCWV Mariposa Stack
Matte: SU Baja Breeze
Metal: SU
Ribbon: My Stash
Jewel: Taylored Expressions

Being on a Design Team you, of course, get to know a challenge weeks ahead of time so that you can prepare for a post.  I made this card a while ago, knowing that I could give it to anyone.
I gave this card to my friend, Amy, today.  Her mom is not doing well.  My heart hurts for her.  We can pray for a miracle.  We can pray for God's will to be done.  I often tell people that Amy has a direct line to God.  She is such a strong, thoughtful, powerful Christian woman, mom and friend.  She makes me want to strive to be better.  I sometimes use her as a confessional or as a buffer before I make decisions.  She loves me with all my flaws.  She takes care of everyone around her.  When I say that this woman is loved - she is loved by all who meet her.  She is genuine.  And now she's hurting and all of us around her find ourselves at a loss for how to help her.  We have been making meals for her and her family.  That is definitely something we do.  Still...
If you are the praying kind, pray.  Not just for her, or her family...pray for everyone you know who is hurting around you.  Pray for yourself if you are hurting.  Pray for the people that are happy.  We have to pray and thank God for our blessings too.  Pray for the people who have suffered loss and for the people who have a new blessing to call their own.  Pray for the family you love - and even the ones that drive you crazy.  Pray.
Gracias for taking the time to hang out with me.
