You Had Me at Meow!!

I joined the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook page.
I have always admired the digis.  I actually have a decent sized wish list.  I have to have $$ first.  You know how that goes... us crafters can basically go broke with the things we "want".
I made the following card for my hunny - as a Non-Valentine.  We joke about Valentine's being just any other day.
Valentine's day he went camping with my boys.  So he received the card when he got back.
This sexy little thing is called Pin Up Cat.  She puts Catwoman to shame!
Base: PTI Pure Poppy
Black DP: MME Chalk Studio
Bling: These are from Stampin' Up which I've had forever
Washi Tape: I got this from Michael's a year ago.
I made my own sentiment.  You can download it here.
Challenges I'm linking up to:
Sassy Studio Designs: Valentine's Day
Stamp and Create: Love is in the Air
Oldie but a Goodie: Valentine
Ladybug Crafts Ink: For the the one I love
Craft Your Passion: Use any previous challenge (#199 Love is in the Air)
Gracias for hanging out with me.

I'm Batman!

Well, not me - but my husband seems to think he is!  Lol!
It's a running joke in our house.  We are very much into DC and Marvel Comics.  So of course we love all the movies they have made - even the not so good ones.  :-)
There was this episode of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon says he's Batman.  Here is the meme of the part of that episode.
Ever since we saw that episode, it has been a running joke in our house and now it has poured into their Boy Scout Troop!  They even say it in the "deep" voice. Hahahaha!  I also made him a shirt that he took with him to Boy Scout camp as a leader.  I will share that on a different day.
I made this card for our 15th Anniversary!  He may not be the real Batman but he is MY Batman! :-)
The stamp is from the The Greeting Farm Set Amazing Duo that I bought as Stamp and Create.  He is perfect colored up as Batman.  He is stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.
Other card details:
DP: yellow and gray paper from Joann's
Black Netting: Stamp and Create
In the next pic, you can see his mask.  It's a separate stamp in the set.  I stamped it on black paper, cut it out, and added glaze to it.
I know the heart clip is a little odd for a superhero card but it was for my hunny, so it was perfect.  Its a clip also from SU.
The star sequins are from Joann's.  They had a pack with different sizes and colors of stars.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Yumi and Fumi Handmade: Card for any celebration (Anniversary)
The Crafter's Challenge: Anything Goes
The Squirrel and the Fox: Use something spooled (Netting)
Make it Monday: Anything Goes
Here Come the Boys: Anything Goes (For Men/Boys)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Pin it (Heart clip)

Gracias for hanging out with me!  And remember -

Ok - Yes Valentine's Again...

I told you I had more Valentiney stuff to post.  I craft early and post late - very late.  Aahh - woe is me..
This is a mailbox I made for my boys' teachers two years ago actually.  It was super easy to do.  The template was cut with my Cricut using a MTME template called Happy Mail.  Once you get all the pieces cut, it is pretty easy to assemble.
The red base is SU Real Red.  The pink is SU Pink Piroutte.  The DP is retired SU Sending Love.
I filled it with Lindt Chocolates.  So so yummy.
The next project was super simple.  I made these M&M candy holders for the lovely ladies I work with.  The image is from a retired SU set called Happy Heart Day.  I stamped it using Rose Bud Memento Ink onto PTI White paper.  So easy and cute.
Gracias for hanging out with me!

Latte Love

I thought I would go ahead and share another card I made with SU Pun Fun that went with the card set that I had made with the cards in my previous post
Again, this is a very cute SU set.  It is really good for making quick card sets as a gift.  Card base - SU Chocolate Chip;  DP - retired SU Candy Lane; ribbon - my stash.  The scalloped square I cut with my cricut on SU Riding Hood Red.
Gracia for hanging out with me!
