Bridal Shower Favor Part 2 - Winnie the Pooh

If you have looked at my blog in the last few days, you have seen where I put the Part 1 of the Bridal Shower favors.  If not, can see my post here showing the Lilo and Stitch Favors.
Again, we did four themes - Lilo and Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, the Minions from Despicable me, and Mickey and Minnie.
We looked on Pinterest and found these little Winnie the Pooh baby shower pots (unfortunately when you click on the link it just takes you to a picture.  When I looked on the website that it has watermarked on the picture, I could not find it.).  We also found these jars filled with honeycombs (again, when I click on the link in Pinterest, it just led me to the picture and not where it came from.
So between those two, we came up with this:
These are the tiny terra cotta pots we got at AC Moore.  You can get them in any craft store.  I used acrylic paint to make the "honey" drips along the top and a paint marker for the lettering.

Inside the pot, we filled a little baggie with Honeycomb cereal and Teddy Grahams.  The little, yellow, checkered ribbon comes from AC Moore as well.
The little bees are buttons from Michaels.  I just cut off the part of the button were you would normally thread and hot glued it to the pot.

I also made the label myself and punched it out with a circle punch.

 I hope you liked them!
Gracias for chillin' with me!

Bridal Shower Favor Part 1 - Lilo and Stitch

A young lady I know is getting married.  She is a great girl and a loved member of our church.  She works hard and has such an intense love for God.  Her fiance is the same.  They are a great couple!  She had a number of bridal showers (including a lingerie shower).  One of the showers she had was one for the church members.  I was asked to help with the favors.  It was, of course, my pleasure.
The theme was Disney.  As part of the group planning her bridal shower, we decided to make it based on four of her favorite Disney themes: Lilo and Stitch (her future husband's favorite), Mickey and Minnie, Winnie the Pooh and the Minions from Despicable Me (the couple dressed up as Minions for Halloween).  We browsed Pinterest for some ideas.  Then my friend, Amy, and I took a trip to AC Moore and the Dollar Tree for further ideas.
Here is the Lilo and Stitch favor we came up with:
These are little takeout boxes we found at the Dollar Tree.  I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the box by itself.
The flower is from a lei.  It was taken apart and then attached with a colorful brad.

I made the label using a clip art I found doing a search on Google.  Cut them out and tied them with some curling ribbon/balloon string.
It was super easy.  We filled it with Skittles!
I have 3 more party favors to show you soon!  Come back again and see me!
Gracias for hanging out!

Birthday Bike Kid

Hello!  Thanks once again for coming to visit me.  I really do appreciate you coming by and checking out what I have made.  So have any of you done the transition from Google Reader to something else?  I am now using Feedly.  It's pretty simple to use so far.  We'll see... Hopefully it doesn't get on my nerves. :-)
Anyway, on to my card:
This is Kenny K's Bike Kid.  He is so super cute!  I love the joy in his face.  He was embossed on watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.  This card is similar the card I made here.  I had the papers ready but wanted a different image.
Card Details:
Base - PTI Orange Zest
DP - DCWV All About Boys
Birthday Stamp - PTI Inside and Out Birthday
Twine - Twinery Midnight Blue
Button - my stash
In hindsight, I wish I would've used glaze on his glasses.  That would've looked pretty sweet!

Ninja Birthday

Some of the stamps from There She Goes Stamps are so funny and clever.
I only have four sets but I have so many more on my wish list!
Here is a card using Ninja Skillz.
I absolutely adore these little Ninjas!  They are so stinkin' cute.  This one was embossed on watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.  The sayings that come with the set are fantastic too.
Card Details:
Base - PTI Poppy red
DP - SU Night and Day
Ovals cut with Silhouette
Speech Bubble Clip - SU Hung up
Polka Dot Washi Tape - Michaels
You can't really tell from the picture but I also added some glaze to the cupcake.  It looks really cool in person.  Isn't that always the case? :-)
