Hello my dears out there in the digital world! Happy New Year! I hope 2014 was good to you - and if not I pray that 2015 is so much better. May it be blessed and filled with love and happiness!
I have not posted in a while. To be honest, I had lost my creative mojo. I just didn't really have it in me to do anything creatively. I tried. I sat down at my desk and tried to look at blogs and see if it gave me some inspiration. Nothing.
So I read. Lots. of. books. Seriously. Lots. There is an app called Overdrive. I was able to download ebooks from my local library. Which I did. A lot. It was awesome getting into some good mindless stories, some mysteries and even some historical fiction. Some of them even made me tear up. I did miss crafting though.
I figured it was the New Year and I AM supposed to be part of the Wags 'n Whiskers Design Team. I mean, mojo IS required for that. So I found some.
And speaking of DT - how about a challenge! The new one on the Wags 'n Whiskers blog is:
Make sure you read the challenge rules that are
posted at the
top of the Wags 'n
Whiskers blog.
One lucky participant will win a free Wags ‘nWhiskers Rubber Stamp!
You don’t have to use
a Wags ‘n Whiskers image on your card,
but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a
free Wags ‘n Whiskers Digi!
Here is my card:
I am using the stamp Bubble Fun. She looks like she is having fun. She is on watercolor paper and colored with Twinkling H2Os.
Other card details:
Solid Papers used: SU Pacific Point; SU Daffodil Delight
DP: K & Company
Ribbon: Stash
Butterfly: I made it using Mod Podge Mod Melts. I then painted it with blue acrylic and added some red glitter. Simple little embellishment.
The blue bubble embellishment is something new I found at AC Moore. They are from Queen & Co. They had all kinds of colors. You can use them as bubbles or water drops. I like the way it looks.

The sentiment is perfect and true. It is from the lovely Ginger from Ginger's House.
Great word art. Definitely check her out.
Thanks for looking!
