Papertrey Ink is having an anniversary! When I started stamping, I started with Stampin' Up products. I was in a stamp club. Talking with the gals led me to some really cool blogs where I started seeing some really nice projects using items from other companies. My first order with Papertrey Ink happened to be of the paper they carry. They have the best quality paper ever! Whenever I want to make a 3D project, their paper is the best to use. I have been slowly building up my stash - because I have to get rid of all the other stacks and stacks of paper I have.
I began to order a few of their stamps, but being a teacher, my all time favorite stamp sets are Teacher's Apple and Inside & Out: Thank You. So when it came time for Teacher Appreciation Week last year (May 2010), I turned to those stamps for a gift for my son's 5th grade teacher.
I have not posted these projects yet. I have made so many projects and little by little I have been uploading them here. Anyway - here it is:This is the card that I made to go along with a notepad set (next picture) that I copied from one that Lacey made for me when I was her daughter's Kindergarten teacher. The card uses PTI's Inside & Out: Thank You. The notepad holder uses PTI's Teacher's Apple. I should've taken a pic of the notepad opened so that you could see what it looks like inside. The letters for the teacher's name comes from a retired Stampin' Up set Best Friends Alphabet. The card and notepad base is SU Kiwi Kiss. The purple mats are PTI's Plum Pudding that was embossed. The DP is DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack. The button on the notepad is from my stash. The ribbon on the card is from Dollar Tree and the charm is from Stamp and Create.
The next one is for the second teacher in his class...
All the materials and the embellishments for both sets are the same. I hope you like them.
Congratulations Papertrey Ink. You are a source of inspiration for so many!
Gracias for coming by! Adios!
These are amazing.
